Cheaper Call Rate is a simple service to use.  It enables you to make calls to UK mobile and international destinations at highly competitive rates.  

Whats more, you can benefit from competitive international and mobile pricing without having to change your current telecoms provider.

Simply register your details, following the step by step instructions.  Enter the International or UK mobile numbers that you normally dial and we will exchange them for UK numbers. All calls made to that number will be charged at the confirmed rate (*when calls are made from BT Landline)..

Each destination has an assigned price.  To see how much it will cost you to call international destinations simply view the Call Rates page and select the destination you require.

Our policy is to provide a fair, easy to understand tariff, which means a flat 24/7 rate for day, evening, and weekend calls.

Yes of course, we just provide you with a UK direct dial number in exchange for your old international one. This does not affect your current provider in any way.

Some telecoms providers may not support 08 and 09 number ranges.  If you have a provider other than BT and find you have problems making a call dial 1280 before the 08 number we have given you.  This will force the call over BT.

The cost of the calls will appear on your telephone bill.  If you have specified call itemisation from your telecoms provider they will be shown as the 08 or 09 number you are now dialing.   

Using our technology, there is no real difference between using our facility to dial friends, family or businesses that reside locally and making an International call to the other side of the world.

We utilise a bespoke software programme that we have called 'best cost routing'. This monitors call volume to all destinations and provides us with alternative options to maximise the best quality route for your call to take. This can even be done whilst the call is in place, without any interference on the line, maintaining a crackle free, optimum quality call.

Your allocated number will work on any UK landline and mobile providers.  However, some other telephony proividers may charge different rates to those advertised.  For call charges from your mobile you will need to contact your mobile provider.

All our advertised rates are based upon calls being made from a BT landline.

You can register as many numbers as you need.  Why not include all your international friends and family numbers from your address book.  Don't forget your UK mobile friends too. 

Remember you can share the numbers you have registered with your circle of friends and family and they can benefit from this service too.  

There is no minimum monthly call spend with this service. Our mission is simply to provide you with a simple and competitive call rate solution.

As unbelievable as it sounds there is no catch at all. We simply exchange the international or UK mobile number that you usually dial for a UK one. We charge a flat rate 2p per minute anytime day or night, for the most popular destinations.
